1978
Bob White leaves Wilson DownHole Services and opens Quail Tools in his back yard.
1979
A new office was built
1981
After purchasing land on Hwy 14 (New Iberia, LA), Quail's first cleaning machine building and shop was built
1982
A third office building was purchased for the Hwy 14 location
1985
The permanent office was completed
The second pipe cleaning machine was built, this soon becomes one of three for the New Iberia location.
1990
Quail adds more trucks to its existing fleet
1992
A new inspection building is designed and built
1994
The existing yard is completely concreted
1996
Quail's exclusive Qrental application is developed and released
Quail Tools and Parker Drilling Company join forces when Bobby Parker and Bob White come to an agreement.
1997
A location in Victoria, Texas is opened
2000
A third branch is opened in Odessa, Texas
2002
A fourth branch opens in Evanston, Wyoming
2003
The number of Quail employees increases significantly, and a corporate office is built on Hwy 14.
2006
A fifth operations facility is added in Texarkana, Texas
2007
The sixth branch, in Williston North, Dakota, is opened in January 2008
2008
David Blair, hired in 1979, becomes Quail Tool's first employee to approach his 30 year milestone with the company. Congratualtions Dave!
Present Day
Today, Quail Tools New Iberia facility encompasses 15 acres of concreted yard and shop area, and the company is made up of one corporate and six operational facilities.
